Festivaldrams

Zoals op de meeste festivals wordt ook hier met de “dram” betaald. Een dram staat op dit festival gelijk aan 1 Euro.

Dram? De dram is een benaming voor een kleine hoeveelheid vloeistof, voornamelijk een alcoholische drank. Eigenlijk is een dram zoals we die hier kennen ongeveer gelijk aan 10 fluid drams. Eén fluid dram is een achtste van een fluid ounce, wat gelijk staat aan 3,6966911953125 ml in de VS, en 3,5516328125000 ml in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, en Ierland.

The FestivalDram: Like on most whiskyfestivals, we also use the ‘dram’ to pay for our spirits. A dram is equal to 1 Euro.

What’s a dram? The word ‘dram’ is used to refer to the amount of liquid, more specific alcohol, in our glass. This dram we refer to is more or less equal to 10 fluid drams.
